I’m Plant Man Tim!

I am Tim Ketchie of Ketchie Landscape Solutions, AKA Plant Man Tim. I am a native of Raleigh, NC and my love of plants and landscaping started at a young age when I would help my Dad around the yard. I met my wife, Dianne, while I was in college at NC State. We have been married 20 years and are the proud parents to our son, Grayson. I graduated from NC State with a degree in horticulture and have spent my career (over 20 years) working for NC State at the Horticulture Field Lab that is located adjacent to JC Raulston Arboretum. In my spare time, I work with people like you to transform their yards into beautiful, functional spaces where they want to spend time. Anything from laying sod, creating new beds for your favorite plants, water features and hardscapes…let me help you create an outdoor space for you to enjoy.

You may have seen my work at the NC State Fair, where I have been participating in their garden competition for over 15 years. My gardens are frequent blue ribbon winners and I am honored to have received several Commissioner’s Awards and Best In Show recognitions.
